INITIATIVES
Our projectsThese ongoing initiatives are essential for us to grow and create a more meaningful impact in our communities through the arts.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Children Give Back
Once a year, our students organise a fundraising campaign for a non profit organisation. They are in charge of every step of the campaign, from getting in touch with the charity to implementing the fundraising activities, and bringing the funds raised to the beneficiaries.
Through this campaign, we hope to teach our kids that their valuable skills can be used for a greater purpose, and to spark in them the joy of giving to others.
Besides this, we also strive to create a positive difference through the arts within the Khlong Toey community. Organising concerts, painting walls in the alleys, exhibiting photos, there are plenty of ways our students can give back to their very own community. We would love to partner up with other organisations and projects to plant trees, raise awareness about environment and waste, and so much more. If you’re interested in collaborating with us, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
Art without borders
Creative Wonderers
Started in 2020 by Sarah Bain, our former volunteer, the Creative Wonderers is a program that connects people and organisations around the world through the Arts. They set up projects focussing on art, music, dance & drama to show how we are globally connected to each other. The original purpose was to connect the Playing for Change Foundation schools and facilitate exchange between them through activities, then the program expanded their horizon to other organisations, schools and communities around the world.
ART for a cause
Art Connection
Art Connection is a community of Bangkok- based artists and creators. Created in collaboration with the Paintbrush Foundation and Creative Wonderers, it aims to cultivate positivity through art and to support art-related charities and projects.
Art Connection organises exhibitions and provides a platform for artists to meet. If you’re an artist and would like to use your skills for a positive social change, feel free to follow us on Facebook and get in touch with us to see how you can help.

‘Pimp my ukulele’
The “Pimp my ukulele” campaign is an ongoing project in which artists decorate and customise ukuleles for our school. Each instrument is then sold to raise funds for our program. From professional artists to Thai celebrities, the support has been completely overwhelming.
For more information about our campaign as well as pictures of our ukuleles, you can view our Facebook album here.
If you are an artist and would like to paint an instrument to support us, feel free to contact us and we’ll give you more details about the process.
donate your compositions
Collaborative album
Artists from all over the world have sent us their original compositions and waved rights so the entire proceeds would go towards funding our school.
The songs are currently available for sale through our bandcamp page, and cover a wide range of music, from Nepali traditional songs to Australian blues, orchestra music, Thai pop, and handpan.
If you are a songwriter and would like to contribute by donating one of your original works, feel free to get in touch with us. We will gladly welcome you on board!
