WHO WE ARE
The Paintbrush Foundation (previously Khlong Toey Music Program) is a non-profit organization born out of a passion to create positive social change through arts education. Based in Bangkok, Thailand, the Paintbrush Foundation teaches the arts for free to the underprivileged children of the Khlong Toey slum community.
What we do
Our Services
Weekly ARTS LESSONS
We offer free music, visual arts and English lessons 5 times a week to the underprivileged children of the Khlong Toey community. Our school provides a safe space where children can learn valuable skills, while expressing themselves and making positive connections with others.
STUDENTS COUNSELLING
We support our older students to follow their dreams of higher education through a counselling program. We try to be there for them every step of the way, from helping them identify their own path, to processing the administrative paperwork, and finding the necessary financial support.
EVENTS
We take part in and organise regular concerts and art events, giving our students the opportunity to showcase their talents and to open their mind to the creative world. Through a wide range of events, our students get to make lifetime memories, while gaining confidence in their skills and in themselves.
OTHER INITIATIVES
We also try to inspire our students to create a positive impact on society, by raising funds for other charities, bringing more art to the local community, and connecting with other children from around the world. We also invite professional artists to join our ongoing projects and use their talent to support our cause.
